Courier Service Terms & Conditions MBE Puncak Jalil
1. General
By using our courier services, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions. MBE acts as a third-party reseller for multiple courier companies and does not operate courier logistics directly.
2. Customer Responsibility
It is the customer's responsibility to verify all parcel details and labels (including recipient information, address, postcode, and contact number) before the parcel is handed over. MBE will not be held liable for any delays, misdeliveries, or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
3. Labeling & Documentation
Customers must confirm that the labels and documentation issued are correct. Once a parcel is accepted and dispatched, MBE treats all shipping details as approved by the customer.
4. Liability for Loss or Damage
MBE’s maximum liability for any loss, damage, or mishandling is limited to RM200 per parcel, regardless of parcel value. For any claims exceeding RM200, customers are advised to purchase optional insurance or declare parcel value upfront (subject to courier's terms).
5. Courier Partner Responsibility
MBE partners with licensed courier service providers. Once the parcel is dispatched, it is handled under the terms and conditions of the respective courier company. Any delays, loss, or damage directly caused by the courier are subject to the courier’s claim process, terms, and investigation procedures. MBE will assist in lodging claims but is not responsible for the outcome or processing time.
6. Prohibited and Restricted Items
Customers are responsible for ensuring their parcels do not contain prohibited items (e.g., cash, liquids, perishables, flammable items, illegal substances). MBE reserves the right to reject any parcel that violates legal or courier-specific restrictions.
7. Claims Procedure
Claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of the expected or actual delivery date. Customers must provide supporting documents (e.g., photos, invoice, tracking number, and proof of damage or loss). MBE will assist in filing claims with the respective courier, but final compensation is subject to the courier’s own investigation and approval. Claims submitted after 48 hours will not be accepted.
8. Insurance
Insurance is optional and must be purchased before dispatch. If no insurance is purchased, liability remains capped at RM200 per parcel.
9. Service Limitation
MBE is not responsible for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Delays caused by courier, customs, or external factors
- Parcels confiscated or detained by authorities
- Items packed or labeled by the customer
10. Amendments
MBE reserves the right to update or revise these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
